Funny story about recording calls: A client hired a company that records all their outbound calls. After listening to calls made on his behalf he told me "They shouldn't have been recording those calls, it brought to mind an episode of Beavis & Butt head." Needless he didn't give them a longer contract.

This is a very interesting article. It's amazing though at how many companies are out there and they are ignorant to this law. I just recently consulted a company and they were so proud of their technology and the ability that they had this great software that would record every call and they would use these calls to create a sales proposal. I don't think that they ever stopped for a second to think about if what they were doing was legal or not? I'll bet you that there are hundreds of companies that are out there doing the same thing. Great article! Keep up the great work!
